The Countdown Timers module adds elegant, animated clocks on product pages, listings, the cart, the homepage, as a banner, and as a sticky site-wide bar. Assign them to chosen products and categories, add a discount-code button, set a display schedule, and review view and click statistics — the module can also launch timers automatically based on your catalog's promotion dates, with no extra work.

Frequently asked questions
How do I add a timer to a product?
In the module configuration open the "Campaigns" tab, click "Add new", set the type and time, and enter the product numbers in the "Product IDs" field (e.g. 12, 45). The timer appears on those product pages. You can also enter category numbers to cover many products at once.
Can I add a discount-code button under the timer?
Yes. In the campaign settings enable the CTA button and pick one of two modes: a link to any URL, or "copy discount code". In the second mode the customer copies the code to the clipboard with a single click and the button label changes to "Copied!" — no manual selecting required.
Can the timer turn itself on and off on specific days?
Yes. Each campaign has a schedule window: set a "show from" and "show until" date plus the days of the week the timer should be visible. The module activates and deactivates the campaign at the right time — ideal for weekend and recurring sales.
How do I show a timer across the whole site, not just on a product?
Choose the "page top" or "page bottom" position. The module displays a sticky timer bar across the whole store, and page content is pushed automatically so the bar covers nothing — it works on mobile too.
How do I know whether a timer is actually working?
The campaign list includes Views and Clicks columns counted separately for each timer. You can see at a glance which campaigns generate traffic and clicks, and compare how different offers perform.
Will the timer appear automatically for a sale?
Yes. With the "Auto-sale countdown" option enabled, the module detects products with a specific price that has an end date and shows a countdown to the end of the discount — no manual campaign needed.
What does a customer in another timezone see?
Always the correct time. The timer counts down to the same exact moment (in the store's timezone), so every customer — regardless of country — sees the right time remaining.
What happens when the countdown ends?
You decide: the timer can hide, show a message (e.g. "Promotion ended"), or redirect the customer to a chosen URL. The setting is available per campaign and globally.
Does the module work on my PrestaShop version?
Yes — the module is compatible with PrestaShop 1.7, 8, and 9, is fully translated, and supports multistore.
