Language Specific Product Images
Show different product images depending on the language. Assign your standard PrestaShop product images to languages with flags and the store filters the gallery, cover and thumbnails per language.
One photo does not fit every market — show the right one
In a multilingual store, on-pack text, labels, banners or infographics often need to be different for each language. By default PrestaShop shows the same images everywhere — so a customer from another market sees an image that is not for them.
The Language Specific Product Images module changes that: you assign your normal product images to languages — with flags, right on the standard uploader in the product Description tab. The store automatically shows each customer only the images for their language: on the product page, listings, search, cart and blocks. Images with no flag are shared across all languages, so existing products keep working unchanged.

Flags on every image
Assign an image to a language with a single click on its flag — right on the standard PrestaShop image uploader in the Description tab. No separate upload, no duplicate files.
Filtering across the whole store
The customer sees only their language's images: gallery and main image on the product page, and cover thumbnails on category lists, search results, the cart and product blocks.
Shared images
An image with no flag selected is universal — shown in every language. You only flag the images that should be language-specific.
Safe deployment
No PrestaShop core overrides. The module reuses the store's own thumbnails, so the storefront stays crisp and fast; when a language has no image, the default is shown. The shop is never left without a picture.
Language inheritance
When a product has no image assigned to a language, you can reuse the images assigned to another chosen language instead of the default product image.
Multistore & translations
Full multistore support — assignments are stored separately per shop. Admin panel fully translated. Compatible with PrestaShop 1.7, 8 and 9.

Do I have to flag every image?
No. You only flag the images that should be language-specific. Images with no flag are universal and appear in every language, so existing products keep working unchanged.
Does the module add a separate image upload?
No. You use the standard PrestaShop image uploader in the product Description tab — the module just adds small flags to each image for assigning languages.
Does the module override PrestaShop files?
No. The module does not override the core or create its own copies of images — it uses the existing product images and only filters them by language on the storefront.
Does it work in multistore?
Yes. Image-to-language assignments are stored separately for each shop.
Which PrestaShop versions are supported?
PrestaShop 1.7, 8 and 9. Requires the ionCube Loader extension (version 10 or newer).
